NRS completed the mechanical works on this project and adapted the original design to accommodate turnkey solutions during the installation.

As this is a residential area the installation and testing of the appliance bay extract fans in conjunction with the closing of the main doors was technically challenging and proved to be very successful in its operation, the extraction rate of air required from the fans is very high and due to the close proximity of the residential units, discharge air noise was a major factor to consider. On initial star up for commissioning the fans we thought there was a fault as the fans couldn’t be heard but a quick visit to the roof proved they were operational and whisper quiet.
